The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT Exam) is conducted by the Indian Air Force. To elect the officers of Class-I declaration in-flight and groundworks (technical and non-technical), the examinations are held twice in February and August / September respectively.
AFCAT is a gateway for both male and female candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force for both Short Service Commission and Permanent Commission / Short Service Commission in Flying Branch. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the Air Force Electoral Agency (AFSB) online exam and interview. Candidates interested in the ground (technical) duty branch must appear in the AFCAT and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
